Our client is relatively new to the Cosmetic Surgery field in London, having made their name in the last couple of years.Since thenthey have been at the forefront of the industry, with new techniques provided by first rate surgeons supported by their dedicated nursing teams.

Working in this prestigious flagship location you will meet and greet celebrities from all over the world!

Based close to mainline rail and underground services it is easy to get to.

Hours: 37.5 hours a week with 9.30am-5.30pm/12-8pm shift patterns, which can include 2 Saturdays each month (day off in lieu for this)

ROLE:

This is a varied and interesting position which includes clinical leadership,compliance and management and staff training and development.

You will act as Clinic Lead Nurse , providing day to day clinical support and guidance to all clinic staff, also advising their head office when needed.

You will lead through example and foster a clinical culture of best standards and current practice as detailed by The Care Quality Commission

You will ensure that new clinic nurses are trained and assessed as being proficient in all aspects of pre and post-operative clinical patient care, using the competency guide and induction programme including Venepuncture and Aseptic Non Touch Technique (ANTT).

You will assist in the organisation and delivery of mandatory training for all nursing staff in the London Clinic.

Perform CPR and assist/lead in clinical emergencies, in line with Basic Life Support national guidance.

SKILLS NEEDED

The Registered Nurse is expected to be fully conversant with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and associated national guidelines and abide by their guidance.

Take responsibility for personal and professional updating and development, including mandatory training.

Regularly assess and evaluate practice by audit and implement change in a participative manner with nursing/business colleagues.

Maintain professional contemporaneous records at all times.

Participate in personal development review.

Maintain a high standard of personal behaviour and ensure effective communication with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, patients and relatives.

Have union/insurance cover – for example RCN membership.
